Mikey had a really rough start in life too. His litter of 5 was thrown in a dumpster not far from the vet's. These kittens were 2 months old, but all found good homes. We got Mikey from our vet after he'd lived there for 2 years at the hospital. He was mostly in a big glass case and spent his nights alone. He IS the sweetest most mellow cat in the World. I thank God for him and his loving nature ever day. He truly thinks I'm his Mother and follows me around like a dog. He's made a good companion for Max and apart from the odd kafufel every morning, when Max will get a "time out" in the bedroom, they love each other and hang out all day and night. Mikey is a boy but has the meow of a"little girly man". Don't let the sweetness and pink nose fool you! He can turn on the big 18 pound boy cat macho attitude when needed. This is a typical Mikey look. His ear off the side listening for Max, who may come at any moment and disrupt his peace. He stands guard in my office. Mikey rests after getting his tummy shaved and an ultrasound. He's finally in excellent health after 5 years of tests and treatments. Again we're so glad we have pet insurance! He looks like the beached killer whale that he is! Mikey loves to sit on boxes. He also likes to "punch in" and do his duty in the household by punching his "time card" on any and all boxes. He'll jump in the air when we empty a beer box and meow to "punch in" for his shift. One of Mikey's nicknames is Bibs. He really is the biggest sweetheart cat we've ever had. Prophet and Angel...
